Terra Lumina Opens at Toronto Zoo

This winter, the Toronto Zoo offers Moment Factory’s once-in-a-lifetime, immersive experience. “Terra Lumina: An Enchanted Night Walk into a Bright Future.” Moment Factory is a multimedia production studio based in Montreal known for creating innovative shows at unique destinations. Their night walks combine storytelling with multimedia sound and special effects.

Of the 11 Lumina nighttime walk experiences Moment Factory has created, seven have been seen across Canada, including in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec. Other host countries have included Singapore and Japan. Vibrant lighting, animated projections, original soundtracks, and inspirational storytelling, make the walks unique.

Created specifically for the Toronto Zoo, Terra Lumina invites participants to walk along a 1.5 km path through the Tundra Trek and Canadian Wetlands. It tells a story of time travel to the distant future of 2099. Powerful secrets of tomorrow are revealed and the world is filled with possibility and hope. As the name suggests, Terra Lumina reflects a way of seeing the Earth through an optimistic lens, and envisions a bright future. This experience is something you do not want to miss.
