ShareYourLove Now!

Throughout our journey, started in 2005, ShareYourLove traveled up hills and down dales to reach remote, mountainous areas where people suffered from limited resources such as a lack of clean water or a high percentage of terminal illnesses. This is where adults toil to make a living. Children come to class in bare feet, walking many kilometres to school.  Even in the extreme cold of winter, they walk to school wearing a thin shirt. The students live, study far from home, in poor boarding schools, and rely on their teachers – whose lives are also arduous.

This year, five medical trips, including examination, medicine distribution, dental examination and eye examinations for 2,150 people were done. Besides the trips, 1,200 households and people in need received relief. Also, nearly 3,000 children enjoyed organized play activities and 1,350 students received gifts from the Share Your Love foundation. In summary, Share Your Love brought to all subjects the total amount of 891,000,000 VND, along with many other things such as books, stuffed animals, sweets, comics, clothes.

On March 2 and 3, 2019, we got through a challenging mountain pass to Phuoc Thanh commune, Phuoc Son district, Quang Nam province. Besides providing medical examinations, medicines and gifts, ShareYourLove presented a 1,000-books bookcase to Phuoc Thanh Primary and Secondary School. The total money for charitable activities during the trip was 233,539,000 VND.

On June 14-16, 2019, we crossed the forest to Ea Tir commune, Ea H’Leo district, Dak Lak province. We examined and delivered medicine as well as awarded scholarships to 18 students. We also presented gifts for 35 teachers and bookcases for Vu A Dinh Secondary School. The total money used for charitable activities during the trip was 187,914,000 VND.

From August 16-18, 2019, we were in Phan Rang city, Ninh Thuan province. The total amount used for charitable activities during the trip: 230,300,000 VND.

On December 7-8, 2019, the group will go to Thanh Son commune, Dinh Quan district, Dong Nai province for the second time. There we will organize medical examination and medicine distribution for 600 people. This will include ear examinations, hearing tests and donatation of hearing aids for patients. We will present five wheelchairs for the disabled, deliver 300 gifts to poor households and gifts to 30 visual impaired people. We will also organize fun activities for 500 pupils and distribute 200 gifts to disadvantaged students who perform well at school. The total amount for this time is expected to be about 200,000,000 VND.

In 2019, Share Your Love implemented a new charity activity called “Children Raising Support.” In Thanh Son commune, Dinh Quan district, Dong Nai province, the first implementation was on September 28, 2019, when Share Your Love went to the homes of 22 disadvantaged families whose children were affected by Agent Orange. This supported living costs for children in the third quarter of 2019 in the amount of 900,000VND/child. The first support was 20,000,000 VND in total. The amount brought to their families for the second time, on 7 and 8 December 2019, will be 19,800,000 VND. We expected that those families would continue to receive funding to raise their children every year, with the amount of 300,000 VND/child/month for the next year. The ShareYourLoveFoundation will support their families quarterly every year.

At the end of the year, we would like to sincerely thank the valuable contributions made by our sponsors and benefactors, the doctor team of ShareYourLove Foundation and the Red Cross of Hung Vuong Hospital, and all members of the ShareYourLove family who contributed financially, materially and physically over the past year. We look forward to continuing to receiving more contributions in 2020. Every bit of support goes directly to those in need.

“TO GIVE IS TO RECEIVE” is always the motto of the ShareYourLove family.
