Editor’s Letter – November 2021

In your hands is the November Culture Magazin and in this issue we are pleased to introduce you to some fascinating people, destinations, culture and wonderful food.

Jeannie Mai Jenkins is on our cover and you can read how this Vietnamese-American came to host popular TV shows such as The Real, and How Do I Look?

In the 5 Minutes With column, you’ll meet Violet Kupersmith, a young Vietnamese-American author who brings her grandmother’s ghost stories into the pages of her books.

The Travel Canada column takes you to Oxford County, an hour-and-a-half’s drive west of Toronto, to meet small business owners and learn about their delicious offerings. Although Vietnam’s borders are still closed, we can use this time to review must-see destinations from north to south. Plus, you can learn about Po Sah Inu Cham towers in Bình Thuận and explore the essence of ancient Champa culture. To shake off the encroaching cold, we travel virtually to sunny Curacao, one of the Caribbean’s most colorful destinations with blue water, blue liqueur, and bright, blended culture.

The Beauty, Health and Life columns provide helpful tips to make your life more joyful and energetic.
