The inspiration and desire to maintain and to spread the cultural beauty to the city people was the idea behind Chợ Gạo. Therefore, the place came to reality with the Vietnamese essence in every detail, from the interior design to the menu.

For decorating, there are Chinese unicorn heads, tuồng costumes, piggy banks next to the modern bar in a corner.

Besides, the menu of Chợ Gạo has drinks named after the famous and interesting names of the West, like the Prince of Bạc Liêu. Owning a special list, the youth rate of this place is a quite reasonably priced shop, from VND 59,000 to VND 1,500,000 (equivalent to C $ 3.48 – C $ 88.48). Chợ Gạo is a place to visit when overseas Vietnamese have the opportunity to return to Saigon. More specifically, on the rainy days, immersing in such a space with performances of melodious songs, Chợ Gạo would bring customers the experiences that elicit the forgotten memories and dispel the withheld sadness.
