Over the past 24 hours, Biden has changed direction taking a lead in the polls during the U.S Presidential Elections. The Democratic candidate, who has been in American politics for almost half a century, won victories in Wisconsin and Michigan. He is holding the lead in the electoral college vote with Trump.
Biden currently has 253 out of 270 electoral votes, while Trump holds the 213 positions according to CNN, while Fox News predicts Mr. Biden currently has 264 electoral votes including a victory over Arizona.
There are still hurdles to overcome. Biden’s victory in Michigan means technically he has just one more battlefield to gain hope for in the White House, but the tallying calls could delay that further.
Trump faces an even bigger challenge at this point. To achieve a second term, the president needs to claim all four remaining battlefield states: Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, and Nevada.
Those states, along with Alaska, have not yet been identified by the Associated Press.
